Kenco Toyota-Lift Operator Training Class
OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.178 (Click here to visit OSHA's website) Under the new OSHA law effective March 1, 1999, OSHA requires all forklift operators to successfully complete the appropriate training and be evaluated by a licensed trainer provided by their employer before being allowed to operate a forklift independently. OSHA estimated that this rule will prevent 11 deaths and 9,422 injuries per year and that the annualized rule is approximately $16.9 million for all effected industries. Not to mention the loss in product damage, other associated equipment damage as well as forklift repair costs. Kenco Toyota-Lift offers programs tailored to our customer’s specific applications at your on site locations as well as in house training at our facility. We offer training at our facility several days a month and is required to be scheduled in advance. Please contact our office to schedule the training that best suites your needs. Maximum class size is 10 people per class. The charge is $95.00 per person but discounting is available to regular repeat customers. If training is requested on site we require a smoke-free classroom or conference room environment equipped with a TV/VCR/DVD for the video portion of the class. Participants who complete the training will receive a completion certificate as well as a wallet sized license recognizing their accomplishment. Program Outline
